If you know human factors and you get a kick out of the med device, tech, and combination product development world, then we are looking for you.

At HFUX Research we realize that there is no one ‘cookie-cutter’ solution for all. That is why we believe in providing customized human factors and usability strategies and solutions tailored fit to every client’s individual research and development needs.

We are not your average consulting firm, and we are not looking for the average consultant.

Your Mission

Be the best HFE Rockstar there can be. If you’re not there yet, don’t worry, nobody is perfect. But let’s be honest, we HFE people all strive to be. And if you do too, you’ll fit right in.

The Left and Right Hemisphere Stuff

At this point in your career, you should know this. If it’s human factors and usability related, whether it’s research, engineering, design, testing, analyses, or stats. We don’t need to give you the lay of the HFE land anymore. You eat, sleep, and breathe human factors – HFE from A to Z – you know it.

Your Ninja Skills

You’re a leader, you are curious, you are a perpetual learner. You love to strategize what a client’s best options are, and you never get bored with trying to find an alternative method, tool, or design to excel a product’s usability.

You read FDA, ISO, and MDR guidelines and standards like they are Stephen King novels, and your brain goes into overdrive a few minutes into a new project coming up with the best path forward for a client and their product.

You got one of those fancy HF degrees and have evangelized the miracles of human factors since before the FDA guidance came out. The initial draft guidance that is.

You know how to talk to people and how to communicate even in ambiguous and new spaces. And if you can do that in more than one language, you are our kind of people – because global clients and stuff, and international travel is not a first-time adventure for you. You feel comfortable where others are uncomfortable.

Oh, and one more thing, this position is 100% remote for now and the foreseeable future – you know, Covid and stuff. For now, you’ll only be travelling for study efforts when applicable. But we got you covered for that.
